The Luton Lily

The Luton Lily

She danced at the Copacabana

Alongside Barry

She rocked in the jailhouse

With Elvis

Licked her lips and swiveled her hips

In the Time Warp

Made wrong moves

To the Macarena

Waved her arms at the YMCA

Beside the village people

She was the Dancing Queen

Strutting with Abba

High kicks in New York

With Frankie

She glowed, she sang, she danced

Archiving the memories

Forever

This is lovely, so evocative Margi, more poetry please!
Now, you need to ‘tag’ your posts, this one with poetry for instance. You’ll see tag on the create a new post page, also ‘categories. This is one of the things that brings people to your site, makes it findable on google – SEO. An example, if you google images of Exeter cathedral you will find one of my photos, because I tagged it. On the right side of my page is a tag cloud, where the things I blog about most often are listed. Make sense?
