Amatrice

The village is sleeping

The earth is grumbling

Walls are cracking

Bricks are falling

Sirens are wailing

People are digging

The silent are screaming

The Pope is praying

The watchers are weeping

It great that you respond to this terrible event Margi; I am just speechless. Finding the words as you do is necessary and moving. rob x

I missed this one, but it was when I became ill. Things written from the heart are always best!
