Bristol Bridges – some of them

Todays walk Thursday 10th March

This mornings walk with the Amblers, led by William and JT was over and under some old bridges that many of us hadn’t been aware of before – hence very interesting. It was only approx two and a half miles with steps – so not too bad at all – nothing too arduous. One of the descents from one of the bridges, was akin to an old spiral staircase, which would make one feel a little giddy, but luckily it had a sturdy handrail.

Take note of the last pic – we weren’t sure if it was a rare sight of a Jason Pollock copycat!! What do you think?

A fun time was had by all, and we finished up at Spike Island cafe for refreshments and a feed back meeting. Please note – my flat white was amazing!

Many suggestions from the walkers for future locations – next programme will be out in a couple of weeks.
